Carmelle is a Toronto-based freelance writer, editor and recipient of the 2015 Kenneth R. Wilson silver award for feature writing. Her articles have been published by Toronto Star, The Globe and Mail, NOW Magazine, Maisonneuve, Huffington Post, AlterNet and Truthout. She is a proud feminist who is interested in issues of mental health and social justice. From 2007 to 2009 she was co-producer of feminist radio show “Radio Cliteracy”, which aired on now defunct radio station CKLN 88.1 FM. Carmelle is also a copy editor for LiisBeth.
