So refreshing to read about Oasis in a non-judgemental voice. I had the pleasure of attending Plato’s Retreat in NYC many years ago. Given the Aids crisis of the 80s, it closed, along with other clubs. I did not think one could survive anymore, especially not in conservative Toronto.

I’m happy to see people who live and seek the lifestyle still have a place to go. As far as we think we’ve advanced as human beings, sex still remains taboo. It’s time we realized that sex is not the enemy.

Thanks Patti! It was so much fun to research and meet very smart and warm women. While our “lifestyle” is quite different I sensed we share many of the same values. I really have enormous respect for what Oasis Aqualounge is accomplishing. In terms of ages, your “friend” would not feel out of place. There is a real range from university students to grandparents. And of course programs that appeal to many tastes.

Must have been a lot more fun to research too. What the ages? Is there a seniors night? Just asking for a friend 😀
