“…today we are increasingly aware of the negative impact and rising cost of inequality and exclusion in our society.
I’m comfortable embracing the label “feminism” precisely because the movement it describes is uncertain and messy, and its priorities, ideas and approaches keep shifting. But this is the core: feminism advances women’s equality through systemic change.
“I have seen feminism become much deeper, much more intersectional, much more enmeshed in people’s everyday lives and that’s the kind of feminism we need going forward.”
